CAPROLON (block polyamide 6)

Caprolon is a high-strength and flexible material, processed by all main types of mechanical processing (turning, grinding, milling, drilling, cutting, shaping) on the metal-cutting equipment. 
Caprolon is a product of caprolactam activated anionic polymerization done directly in the tube. 
Caprolon is used as antifriction, electric insulating and construction material in various industries to produce large-sized, thick-walled , small-lot, non-standard items, general components.

Production: Depending on the production way  and  field of application  caprolon is  produced of  3 types:
Block polyamide 6  – ПА 6 «А» and «Б» grade;
Block polyamide  6, modified with graphite  – ПА 6 – МГ;
Block polyamide 6, modified with   molybdenum disulfide – ПА 6–МДМ.
ПА 6 grade  «А»  is used  to produce essential parts  for   aircraft industry, shipbuilding  and other  industry application fields  requiring adequate quality of articles, ПА 6 grade  «Б»  is used to produce   constructional parts  for  mechanical engineering.
ПА 6–МГ  is characterized  by increased  antifriction and antistatic properties   and is used  to produce parts  for   oil, gas,  mining and other  industry application fields.
ПА 6–МДМ  is characterized  by  increased antifriction and   dielectric properties  and is used to produce parts for  petrochemical facilities, steel production,  packaging, mining and other  industry application fields.

Transportation and storage 
Caprolon is transported by all modes of transport in closed transport facilities according to the Rules of goods carriage, valid for this mode of transport.
If needed cargo items are enlarged to unit loads using attachments according to GOST 21650 on pallets according to GOST 9557.
Caprolon is kept in indoor storage of any type excluding direct humidity.

Packaging 
Product is delivered to the customer without any packaging.

Operation instructions
Before use product should be processed in accordance with the recommendations on caprolon thermal and mechanical processing under Appendix В TU 2224-036-00203803-2012 

Manufacturer’s guarantee
Guaranteed shelf life of caprolon is 4 years as from the date of manufacturing.
