Games Without Losers

Perm hosted the 7th Winner’s Games. The children who had overcome oncological diseases gathered at the arena of Sukharev Sport Complex, where they competed in six sports disciplines.
Every year, the Bereginya Charitable Foundation organizes a sports festival for children. Metafrax Chemicals as the general partner of the Winners' Games, helps not only to maintain the level of the event, but also to make it even bigger and brighter.
Maria Konovalova, Director of Strategic Communications at JSC Metafrax Chemicals:
“This project is about the future. The concept of Metafrax is in the slogan: "Foundation of Tomorrow." And what else but children's health, their well–being, and high-quality medicine is our future? Charitable foundations aren’t just partners, they’re our friends. It’s very valuable that the managing company Ruschem, which includes Metafrax Chemicals, supports such philanthropic initiatives. Such good projects as the Winners' Games are born and developed in this community.”
The 2025 Games brought together about 50 children from 17 cities and settlements of the Perm Region. For the first time, the celebration was themed: the venue design, the show program, and even the names of the competitions were dedicated to space. The folks competed in running along the Milky Way, walking on the stars, table tennis "Throw Mercury", shooting in the "Star Shooting Range" and "Intergalactic Football".
Andrei Ipatov, Deputy Minister of Physical Education and Sports of the Perm Region, thanked the organizers for supporting children and introducing them to physical activity. This year, for the first time, the Winners' Games were held simultaneously at two venues: Sukharev Sport Complex and the regional Children's Cancer Center. The folks who defeated the disease recorded a video message to those who are just undergoing treatment and received a video message from the hospital in response.
Tatiana Golubaeva, Director of the Bereginya Charitable Foundation:
“The Games are a proof that children recover, fight cancer, and return to their normal childhood. It’s very important for us that, first of all, they can overcome themselves, so that their loved ones can see what they are capable of, even after suffering from a disease. It’s important that the audience comes and supports the children. This inspires them with self-confidence and hope for the future.”
Based on the results, each participant traditionally received an award. Professional sports clubs in Perm provided great support to the game participants.
