Metafrax Chemicals improved its position in the ESG ranking
In the October updated ESG ranking presented by RAEX agency, Metafrax Chemicals took 76th place. Since January of this year, the company has managed to climb 22 notches of the rating.
RAEX issues a comprehensive ESG rating based on assessments of corporate practices in environmental, social and corporate governance fields. In total, 160 Russian companies were included in the ESG study. At the time of the assessment, the agency uses any information available, including non-financial reporting.
Metafrax Group is engaged in the systematic implementation of ESG principles in the holding’s companies based on the most successful cases and expert recommendations. The company has recently published a report on sustainable development, which provides information on environmental policy, atmospheric air protection, measures aimed at preserving water resources and biodiversity, waste management and the environmental program until 2025.
